Well, since it's apparently impossible to get registered on the elitist sscouncil forum, I would like to bring attention an issue for all zones hosted on SSCA which I've noticed for quite a while now, but originally just thought it was Continuum being an arse and d/cing as usual. (It has probably been a bug since the beginning however.)

My concern is regarding new players entering Devastation (and all SSCA zones for that matter). If a new user has been created, a simple 'Would you like to create a new user...? yes/no' box appears. But once the player is created and enters the zone, they'll be kicked approximately 45 seconds afterwards by the biller. ASSS logs the following "I {0} [username] player kicked out by user database server (0".

It appears that the player is never registered on the biller, since entering a non-SSCA zone will re-prompt the full information box when creating a user. But entering another SSCA zone won't prompt the message again (but yet again, they'll still be disconnected 45 seconds after).

I've informed Snrrrub exactly a month ago and he hasn't done anything to solve the issue (so for the purpose of not having it forgotten, I'm placing the issue here). It's becoming quite problematic for new and old users who want to play the game, but don't exactly realize what's the cause; they just keep getting kicked out and eventually give up playing.

The version of Continuum shouldn't be any relevant, but it's 0.40 at any rate - it also affects all chat clients as well (subchat, starlight). While the zones are all 1.4.4 (Continuum 0.4 only).

The players enter the zones without any problem, but registration information isn't being passed on to the SSC biller somehow (from what I can tell). Why else would it prompt the message again when entering (a different zone)? - I also don't know what's involved in the registration form being different on SSCA, but I suspect it has a role in all this.

Fixed. Turns out Priit's last biller update changed a few things - like fixing the B2S login response field when the registration form needs to get sent.

I've been out of town a bit lately so I haven't been completely on the ball as far as approving SSC Forum registrations go. Hakaku and the two others who registered a few days ago are all set now.
