I only pay 8, and besides, theres many reasons to see it in theatre. First, it's just better. Second, you can socialize. Third, you support the local economy. Oh and fourth it's not stealing, but that's not that important.

Socializing at the theatre is not that fun... You can't even talk during the movie or people throw popcorn at you

And it's not stealing.. it's sharing blum.gif

I don't have any friends to watch movies with, but I like to try and make friends by telling people what is about to happen in their movies. I'm seriously cool like that. Seriously.

Lynx-A good way to make friends in a movie theater is sitting by them. Especially when they're the only other one. smile.gif

Or you throw skittles at they're head.

Or you throw skittles at they're head.

Then you eat them off their hair

I remember I bought a load of sweets when I was in the cinema once. It was years and years ago when I was much younger. I couldn't get through the last pack of fizzy cola haribo so i opened the pack and threw the whole thing somewhere behind me. Coz im cool like that.

Get 48 inch (or greater) LCD or plasma TV, and good 5.1 or 7.1 or 8.1 sound.

Go out and buy snack food for the movie.

And it's not stealing, it's sharing.

Invite friends over. And if you can't get friends to come over then go outside and talk to some people, about the movie you watched, (trust me, if you can't get friends to come over to watch a movie you might as well make new friends) cause really, there is no differences.

You now have successfully socialized, and supported local economy for purchase of foods and goods from local stores that DO need your money, that is not highly overpriced.

The only movies worth going to the theaters are those that do 3D IMAX.. until you can start viewing that at home.

Edit: I forget to also mention the added benefits is that you can "Pause and Rewind" ...something you can't do in those moments when you couldn't make out what the actors said.

Take that Paramount!
