Bankotsu Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 hey i was wondering if anyone would be interested in trying to make an xbox live arcade online game of continuum that would be the shit
Samapico Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 You might want to shrink your signature size... especially with that invalid gamertag thing... check the rules for the size limits
»Lynx Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 We'd need decent coders. Something which there is currently an abundance of. -L
Bankotsu Posted January 14, 2009 Author Report Posted January 14, 2009 i would donate to the cause if some ppl are actually interested in it. Plus if you make it like 400 ms points ss could start making some good money if it becomes popular
Cancer+ Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 It wouldn't work. The controls would be different. I don't even know if there are enough controls. But xbox users couldn't interact with comp users. etc. etc.
Incomplete Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Could always plug a keyboard into the xbox, however this won't happen.
rootbear75 Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Could always plug a keyboard into the xbox, however this won't happen.the xbox recognizes a keyboard already... you can use a keyboard to type in messages, etc.. so its not that farfetched of an idea
Bankotsu Posted January 15, 2009 Author Report Posted January 15, 2009 its really not as hard as you think to come up with controls for a xbox controller and i dont think that cross compatability would even work with an arcade game

Too many legal issues for a start.
Bankotsu Posted January 15, 2009 Author Report Posted January 15, 2009 its not like were stealing ss its basicly advertising for ss on comp
Dav Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 The only reason why we havent been taken down is because the owners of SS simply do not care as things are right now.
rootbear75 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 ya i suspect that if SS started turning a little profit they might come back of course there is always hope to put Doc Flabby's Subspace2 on XBLA since its open source :/
»Lynx Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 These are all pipe dreams, but hey... We can all dream, right. Would be awesome, but... Won't ever happen. Furthermore, if it were on XBLA it should be free. I wouldn't pay anything for it. I'd donate to the coders, but actually pay for the software is another thing. -L
Incomplete Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Which is where the legal issues are. SS is a free game.
