i wonder what everybody would be saying if these complaints were made by other passengers, and were ignored, and then the plane got hijacked or was blown up by these muslims.

Exactly, people would then complain that the airline company wasn't thorough enough and need to up their security.

Right, because terrorists actually do blatantly ask 'taboo' questions. I hardly see it as logical to treat every brown person guilty until proven innocent (especially when proving them innocent takes them to miss a few of their flights).

Terrorist doesn't mean specifically muslims.

The fact that this thread is still going on is absurd. I checked out the board again after a week and was like "another 2 pages?"

Really, we all kinda resolved the rights and wrongs of this issue by like the end of the second page of posts. Part of the reason i stopped debating in this board seriously is because everyone is so hardcore and deadset into their agenda, that they push it as part of every lil issue.

Agreed with TJ, except that I wouldn't call it an agenda so much as boneheadedness on the part of some, and overreaction by others.

Close, IMO, unless someone wants to take this thread in a drastically new direction.

Yeah I got proved wrong, I can admit that but the difference in the chances of surviving aren't that great. It's no way near enough to make me think about changing where I sit or asking where the safest seat is. However this argument is irrelevent. A muslim asked about the safest place on the plane, this alone aroused enough suspicion for someone to complain. The airline had no other alternative but to investigate.

No one is arguing that... As NBV just said:

The point is once the FBI cleared them they should have been allowed on the flight.

Sure the FBI aren't always right, but how in the world could the airline know more about them than the FBI? Especially since the FBI investigated, while the airline only did that because they probably had some by-the-book procedure to follow along the lines of "Don't let terrorist suspects on the plane"

But emm.... yeah, we've all been saying the same crap since the beginning blum.gif I blame those who didn't bother to read what the real issue was
