Log Files not saving

My log files aren't saving into any fold that I can find. When I log into the game it says "Log file open: session.log" But when I try to go back and find it, there's nothing in there. Anyone had this problem before? I use Vista btw.

Do you have a "logs" folder? If not, try making one. if so, make sure that it isn't read only.

I don't remember what other settings vista has with writing files privleges.

Everytime I try to remove continuum or any file inside of it off of read-only it rechecks itself.

It is most likely a permission problem. I don't know the instructions for XP anymore but if you are using Vista

go to C:/Program Files/Continuum or the folder where you have Continuum installed. Right Click on Continuum.exe and select properties. You should now be at the properties box. Go to the security tab and hit the "Edit.." button to change the permissions. From there give full control to Administrators and Users.

I've figured out that it will log if I put a specific filename in while ingame (ie. ?log session, ?log blah, etc...), but if I have it set as autotext when I enter or if I do "?log session.log" it wont work. For somereason the .log extension is not working at all.

Figured it out.

Every file that was opening with the .log extension (autotext ?log) was being put in the compatibility part of the folder. Don't know why but it was. I had to cut/paste the session.log txt file from the compatibility part to the regular part in the logs folder. Never heard of that before. This is where vista pisses me off. :(

basically, its not a campatibility part.

there is a virtual place that Vista puts programs that try to write stuff to the program files folder.

It's in like "application data" "appstore" or "Appdata" folder somewhere on your HD.

eg: %System%/AppData/Program Files/---
