Advertising ?

Wouldn't it be cool to have some sort of promotion or advertisement or commercial funding for HS/SS? The community has overall gotten small over the years (ss not hs) and it wouldn't hurt to try to get some new people to play. Discuss

Commercial funding would kill HS. I would feel obligated to provide support rather than work on it as a hobby. This means I'd quickly get frustrated and drop it entirely.

Brain can always except donations from HS players in exchanging: giving them money or items like in private mmorpg servers. But then again....no ones gonna donate =/

So like the owner who's name I can not spell or say just gave up on ss right? That's why it's dying. I haven't quite grasped the subject on why it it dying.. I know it's a old game. But Some people like old games. I do, GO PAC MAN! But I mean why in the world wouldn't we (ask in the admin's of this board/people that have high powers in the game, get a coding team together, like we have for the '3D SS' or whatever it's called and make ss a little funner, maybe some new items, new graphics and all that stuff. Yeah, people don't have time, yes, I know, I barley have time my self, to help out but whatever you know.. People could just help out on their spare time, whenever that might be.

 

But screw it eh? Lets just leave ss to die and see everyone's hard work fall to the hands of the person who I can't remember, nor spell.

what i was thinking is getting a coding team together to make this an online arcade game on xbox live. The code is c++ and i would donate to make this happen. Because its only like i think 50 dollars to transfer it to xboxlive game makers community. Its really as easy as downloading a xbox program to code the game then uploading to xbox marketplace and you could make it like 400 points and start making revinue

Arcade game? Hell no man. If SS would ever come out on XBOX it would be uber pwnage and would go kill halo and cod waw. It would be another good game. But Microsoft would never allow it. Because they didn't make it... Also if that were to ever happen it would be so hard to host a zone/make one.
