Honestly, this was the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning, which is kinda of sad.

 

Do away with salvo and replace with.

 

Cyclic Booster

 

Buy price: 35k (reasonably high price)

Sell price: 17k (or whatever)

Exp: 5k

Ships: probably all

Type: Addon

 

Stats:

 

Bomb delay: -40

Bomb energy: +50

Recharge: -1

 

 

 

The number can change based on what works, but the idea is to get rid of salvo, but you can still use a different bombs and buy better bomb delay be using an addon space. Example, I could buy falcon, and end up with a domb delay of 90-100, but I don't need to have salvo just because it is the only bomb with good delay. Or, I could upgrade Tacnuke so I can waste my energy faster making it easier for people to kill me.

Addition like that really wouldn't work for all bombs. There's no reason not to buy something like that when you've got tac, since the energy difference is minor.

the energy difference is minor but the player would still not be able to fire more than two tacnukes in a row since it would depleate too much energy. Making them vulnerable to attack, so it still has downsides.

 

It was just a thought anyway.

He said do away with salvo, so there wouldnt be one. Also the addon will have a impact on rushers because they will have 1 less addon to use.

This kinda thing has been suggested before but I don't think it'll really work.

 

Maybe if you could make it applicable only to certain bombs, but that'd be too complicated and not worth the time.

I used to like salvo on levi, if you could aim you could take out any ship willing to attack you, I thought it was useful on jav too with phaser/salvo... salvo is pretty good as-is
