Did you guys know that he died in '95? I never knew that.

For those of you who don't know, it's the coolest guy who ever lived.

Seriously... I searched for 10 minutes and couldn't find a single video of HIM painting... I found like 200 tributes and parodies, but no original... I remember seeing him on TV. I'm not expert but apparently his style was pretty unique.

"We're gonna take a bit of green and add some white. We're softening up this color here. I think I'm gonna add some blue, but not too much blue. Ah yes, that's it, just like that. And then soft strokes here."

The way he talked so softly sometimes sounded wrong with the things he said. But the guy was an amazing artist. Like 10 strokes and suddenly you had a forest.

His style was unique. I read on wikipedia that he wouldn't wait for the colors to dry. He would just color over the wet colors with more paint. He was always real quick with the painting too.

But really, if you look at his paintings, they are gorgeous. It's amazing how he painted so quickly and so good. He was like the Michael Jordan of painting. So effortlessly.

Sama, I dunno if you get PBS up in Quebec, but if you do, you might get to see him in the early afternoon (12:00-2:00). Sitting there and watching him paint for half an hour is better than anything you can find on the internet. Edited by Finland My BorgInvasion

We normally do I think... or we used to... Cause I do remember seeing him paint on TV.

But my dad has some h4x0red satellite thing and at the moment he only gets Dish, an american network. It has its good sides (some channels I never could watch before with good stuff like G4, free pr0n channels, ...) and its bad sides (it's so hard to find the damn channel where the Canadiens play :( )

offtopic.gif Canada's junior team won against USA, yay! (They beat Kazakhstan 15-0 2 days ago lol)
