Ive asked nicely, i pleaded, ive increased posts, ive got people to post here that never do. Ive helped with the community, I do whatever I can to help out anywhere. Im an overall nice guy. Ive helped you polix, when you needed help. Ive always stood behind you and supported your ideas, and even made actions to support an SS community. You of all people know this.

 

All I wanted was a game forum where we could discuss games in particular. A forum to get rid of all the nonsense of these useless posts that fat people make about nothingness. A separater between garbage and usefulness. You do not want to restore the game forum, I ask why.

We've had way more games topics, yet you still refuse to reinstate the forum. Sure, majority of them were started by me, but most of them were replied to and held conversation/discussion. They then, were send to the "Dark hole" what I like to call the pages beyond page 1. Nobody clicks that little number 2. They only really want to respond to active topics. What is the ratio between decent posts about games, and garbage that rootbear posts about? You wanted more posts about games, and I gave it to you. Still, I see no forum.

So, if we dont post about games, then we get no forum. If we do post about games, we get no forum. Its a lose-lose situation. How can this battle be won? Of course I have a solution.

 

From today forward, I will boycott ssforum until a game forum is revived. All of you that want the precious game forum and an end to this contradicting and endless lies of promises of actions, stand behind me.

 

Freedom riders, sit-ins, boycotts, strikes, revolt, civil war. This is how things get done. It has worked in the past and it will work again. This forum is about its members and their discussions. With that in mind, its of the forum's best interest to keep the members happy. This is a centralized forum supporting a dying game. If there are no posts, it will damage the community. I did not want this to happen, but you've left me no choice.

 

Post your name if you are with me on this one and show full support to boycott the forum if these needs are not met. Become part of the brotherhood.

No matter how you do it, having 2 forums splits the activity level... some people will only post in one forum and won't even bother reading the other (this goes both ways); that's what I meant.

 

So you're not happy to be able to post about games in general discussion, therefore you stop posting/reading completely? ... Ok?

 

 

And how will you know if we make the forum if you never come back to check? :(

"the useless posts that fat people make about nothingness," long gone. Why we don't want to restore the game forum? The game forum is only going to stay active for a week or 2 if we add it back. After that its going to die again.

Bringing rootbear into it is not going to help you at all. rootbear has been posting less "garbage" recently. Why would you want to post about other games in a forum for a game.

7. Do not argue any actions of the forum staff by posting a topic or posting in a topic. Please use Private Messages to discuss their actions with them

How is that a solution? If you were serious, you would decide on a plan that will help both the members and the staff of this forum, not just the members who want a game forum.

Honestly, he is going through all this trouble, why not? It isn't going to cost anything other then a few clicks on a mouse, and what's the worse that will happen? You prove him wrong? Then it's all over.

 

For me personally, I don't really want to come to a Subspace forum and find General with non subspace related topics, let alone have them be about games.

1. The game forum has been done 2 or 3x and each time it has died after only a month or so.

2. The last thread in General hadn't had a post for 6 days until you guys decided to go on a spamming spree and bring tons of old topics back, so really, those posts we're long dead before they went to the 2nd page.

Edit: After talking to other admins... I'll add it, and if it can survive being in Recycling, then I'll see about moving it to General as an active forum.

 

This is time #4 and the last.
