Gannon8 Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 JauntePE is a (FREEWARE) program made to modify other programs to make them portable through injecting a DLL I think. It does not work with continuum and does the same thing where it jumps back and forth on the task manager and never starts. Could it be that JauntePE does not allow Continuum to start that subprocess that was mentioned from the Running Continuum with WINE post, or that Continuum has a DLL injector-detecting feature that makes it crash if it detects potential cheaters? And does anyone have a guess on how to get around it? Please discuss, even if it is not the perfect solution Thanks And this seems like the "home page" for JauntePE: http://portablefreeware.com/forums/index.phpIt does not really have a website of its own
Samapico Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Continuum most likely closes itself when something tries to modify it. There's no way around it, except hacking the exe which will make it impossible for you to log in any zone.
rootbear75 Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Built-in security in the client prevents anything from editing any of the DLLs and the EXE. If you attempt to modify the exe, you will not log into any zone because of a checksum error. unless you manage to find out the value :/
Dav Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 just clone the continuum folder onto a pen drive and it will work fine, no need for additional software!
