BAD staffing

Why ban me for a glitch no one knows about? I didn't even find out about it till I stumbled across it after selling my PD. I bought PD earlier today. I thought it sucked cause it steals kills from you. So I sold it, it was still attached so I was like Meh. Bought guns and noticed that it still shot at nme. So I was like, thats cool maybe it will detach once i die. It didn't. So I was going around killing people till i died again, to see when/if it would detach. Next thing i know I have my money taken away and my ship items then got disconnected. When I came back Rare admitted to doing it. Why the fuck don't you guys warn people of a violation? Every other zone does but this one? Not to mention you guys dont fix the glitch OR tell the public of it and warn them if they use it. I came back in and clamy asked how to do the glitch and i said it. Now I'm banned for that? You the staff should be the ones to tell the players of it. Just like with the flags in base 4. I did it entirely on mistake and get banned cause of it? So like the title says, HS has horrible staff. Why do I have players have to suffer for a bad staffing job?

zzz first thing he does today is ban, and when the flags glitched up he's never there... nicely done.

 

In b4 bs, "he did his job", "should know better and not take advantage of situation", "players are the one to blame not staff" etc.etc.etc.etc.

 

p.s staff would never admit to being wrong on ss, never has it ever happened b4, so gl hackysack

It'd be nice to have a mod that wasn't 14 years old and afk all the time. PsiPsythe logs on once a week and does a race and maybe some sex-related trivia (which isn't really appropriate for younger players anyway). The only mod I see thats actually active is Rivel and he spends more time playing than moderating.

you bought pd = in your possession

you sold pd = should not have it. do whatever it takes to get rid of it

lol don't get me started on how asinine the mods are in HS. I spent much of the last reset in a series of bans for the most ridiculous reasons. First one, I logged on as 'Arnk Dylien' and sent one message as a spoof: "Arnk Dylie> Ok guys, I admit it, this reset is horrible and we'll be reverting. I also apologize for my crappy attitude." The zone got a huge kick out of it but I got banned for a week. Ok, I can understand that. Arnk's ego got bruised. But then six days later I log on Gar from my laptop and start playing, figuring my ban is up because I WAS ABLE TO LOG ON. Rare bans me again for 'ban evasion' (wtf). Three more bans after that from Rare for completely made up reasons. I didn't even play for a month yet I'd log on after a ban and there Rare'd be banning me again because he felt like it.

 

None of these rules are listed anywhere, and none of them are enforced on anybody except people the mods don't like or don't know. Guarantee you Unix could spoof Arnk once and nothing would happen.

No, every post is constructive criticism about a problem with the zone. The fact that I'm right and they're just too lazy to do anything about it is usually what pisses them off, especially when it's clear that the devs and mods ARE the problem. Tell them how every other game in existence has rules for mods to keep them neutral if not nice, while HS is full of a-hole admins that talk crap and insult other players while lording their admin powers over people they don't like. The only thing they'll say back when you tell them they've probably driven alot of people away is 'ROFL!! We don't care'.

It's really not common sense when there are no warnings and penalties are unevenly enforced. I guarantee you a player like omni could do that PD thing OP is talking about and get a good laugh from the admins and share a brew with them, while the OP gets banned with no warning - and how dare he ask why he was banned!

Not saying it's right or wrong but that is life. People give more leeway usually when they know the offender.

 

IMO the source of the problem: Brain isn't making HS for pop. Nothing wrong with that but I think it's what fuels the "I don't care" thinking.

Everyone knows? I didnt, prok didnt, clamy didnt, manwee didnt, ect. So... maybe the REAL abusers are those who know of these glitches.

I sold PD = zone should taken item

 

Not my fault someone can't fix their bot. Why even offer things that have glitches?

Not to mention; why not make it publicly known that there are these glitches and violators will have consequences.

Considering I am not the only one who didn't know of this glitch, this whole thing is pretty fucking stupid.
