Chambahs Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Looks fucking awesome. Anyone have it? I totally wanna get it, but I hate having a game and nobody to play with lmao. Who would throw down on it? Lemme know, if a couple people are willing, I might buy it and we can all hook up and play. Saw a couple of trailers and a couple of gameplay footages. Looks really intense and well made.
darkreb0rn Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I played the demo and it was pretty sweet. I heard it gets kinda boring when you play alone but coop is crazy fun.
No_Remorse Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 ya i believe multi-player is the main focus of the game. you can play with 3 a.i. bots as your teammates but they can't really compare to the human mind. thank you chambahs, for making this thread. once i buy my 360 this is first on the list and probably fable 2 as well. any news on whether or not it is coming out for the ps3????!!!
L.C. Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I wish it weren't that expensive ($50), but I'm buying it as we speak. :\ I really want the game.
No_Remorse Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 It appears I will have to purchase a in order to play L4D.
L.C. Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Left 4 Dead is available for PC too. O_o Is your computer not good enough to run it?
Chambahs Posted November 28, 2008 Author Report Posted November 28, 2008 if anyone is gonna buy it, you gotta buy it on PC
Testtube Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 I will be buying this game today for the PC!!! steam owns.
L.C. Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Steam isn't too bad. Course you have to admit that every once in a while it will have its kinks (as all things do). I played through one of the campaigns yesterday -- it took me like 2 to 3 hours to get through it and I died once. D: There are like 4 different world areas to play from, and in each I /think/ there are 4+ different scenarios or paths you can choose -- you select this scenario at the beginning of the thing when the first map loads. But boy, this is quite an intense and fun game. From what I have read, the game only gets boring after a while if you play alone with bots, but if you play with a group of [human] friends in co-op, the fun in the game will last quite a long time. I would recommend Left 4 Dead.
Semi Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 I've been playing the demo and even with access to only two stages, it's still endless fun online. Played it offline a few times, the AI of your team isn't too bad, but sometimes... I wonder what the hell they're doing. Also, I hear the versus is amazingly fun. Am yet to try it since I don't have the actual game. Anyways, I reccommend this game to anyone that enjoys slaughtering hoards of zombies with friends, or random 10 yearolds that like to rush through the whole stage, woo.
Chambahs Posted November 28, 2008 Author Report Posted November 28, 2008 Looked into the game some more. It def looks awesome, and looks fun as hell. I just dont know if i wanna spend money on a game that ill play for a couple days. And seeing as its on steam, i dont think i can add it to my pirate list WHAT 2 DO?!? Everyone says theres so few levels and scenarios to play, after you've played them...thats it. Sure, you can play them again, but meh, i honestly think ill have fun with it for a couple of days and then trash it when i get tired of it. Which is a waste of money IMO.

EDIT :: And by the way, there are such things as "Non-Steam" or "No-Steam" cracks, patches, and pirate-releases. That's how I played Episode 1, Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal.
