Problem with Pasting

[Hate The Fake]

Whenever im in dcme tile editor (control e) and try to use the selection map tool. And copy a selection, when i go to paste it, it automatically boots me out. Below:

Also after using the selection tool to move a few tiles, it wont let me deselect and forces me to exit and return before i can reedit my tile further.
