Polls are closed, let's all watch.

What channel are you watching to keep up on who's winning what?

If willing, who did you vote for? Why?

And what state are you from?

Me:

CNN

Obama, because Palin was the breaker for me. Had he gone with anyone else, I probably would have voted for him.

Minnesota

CNN is already projecting Kentucky for McCain, and Vermont to Obama.

Edit: I thought it was 8pm because Vista was synching to the wrong time zone... ok, so in 1.5hrs it will be time.

I'm still a Christian, I just think that Obama would be a better choice to get this Godless country back on track. Plus the Roe vs. Wade debate is pointless, and there are more important things in this country to worry about, like education, health care and the war.

I actually liked McCain and considered voting for him. Until he tapped Palin as his VP candidate.

Ditto. He should have picked anyone other than Palin.

None yet..

...

Washington

The main race I'm going to watch is our Governer race. Last one was only decided like 5-10 votes.

There's less than 1% of the nation reporting in, it's far to early to tell...

And it's probably going to be close, so we probably won't know until the morning.

Didn't vote.

Don't like either.

Palin is hot.

If I would have voted, it would have been for Nader, he is !@#$%^&* determined.

And right now I'm watching abc i think, but its muted because I hate politics.

Watching McCain conceed right now...

This is history, something many african americans will tell their grandkids, great-grandkids, and beyond about.

Wee... Now to watch the last Governer race... aka WA's. So far looking like last year, 50-50.

Well, til Obama gives his speech. Probably will be tomorrow, but eh.

I really hope this is the beginning of a new generation of liberals. With the increase of minority population and the realization that some of the most well off countries have large socialism tendancies, it would be nice to see actual change in my lifetime. If I could see guns disappear and universal health care before I die, I think I would have a pretty positive outlook for our children.

I was hoping more on the lines of almost absolute control. I just haven't come across many ideas about why owning even a hunting rifle is important in any way. Edited by Ducky

Yep. Not just African Americans either, but all minorities in the U.S., really. And even quite a few Europeans.

Have to say I'm quite happy Obama won, and happy about McCain's gracious concession. Both of them ran grueling campaigns and battled long odds.

The rest of the world would have voted even more in favour of Obama. The rest of the world is rejoicing that Americans have found some sense and elected a decent un-corrupted individual as President.
