Guest jjanetka Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 This will be an easy one... when designing a level, will the only differences in the game be found in the server.cfg file in the FLAG setting? Just wondering if this is the only place we would find a difference, say, between a soccer style game and a capture the flags game. thanks in advance.
Xeterax Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 It's the settings. But you have to edit them in order to have/not have flags. Eh, add goals to the map though if you're doing soccer.
Yupa Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 it's much easier to help you if you tell us what it is you're trying to accomplish, instead of being all coy
Guest jjanetka Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 I would like to set a game of soccer on a map I created and I would like to set a game of capture the flags on a map that I created. I thought I understood the basic flag settings but can't seem to get a game of soccer or flags going. If someone would attach a cfg file for soccer and a cfg file for flagging game, that would probably be good enough to get going... If a map for each could be provided to to see the required tiles, that would be great... Consider it your good deed for the day! thanks!
Yupa Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 the most relevant settings... soccer: soccer:ballcount=soccer:soccermodewarbird:soccerthrowtime= flag: flag:flagmode=flag:maxflags=flag:carryflags= both: prize:minimumvirtual=template.sss
