Corey Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Just wondering, how do lvl's work? like what do they do?
Samapico Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 lvl's? Well... they contain the information about all the tiles placed in the map, and the tileset itselfIt's the map, basically http://wiki.minegoboom.com/index.php/LVL_Format And if you meant LVZ's, then http://wiki.minegoboom.com/index.php/LVZ
Samapico Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 ... Not really. You can make lvl files easily with a map editor such as DCME, and LVZ's too
Hate The Fake Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 im still learning dcme so far i have managed to figure out all the tiles on the bottom are fly under, theres 4 sets of door tiles, a safe tile and hmm a border tile, the rest are standard. After i have all the tiles down i wonder what to do next hmmm
Samapico Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Hover your mouse over the tiles, it will tell you what it is and its properties CLT had a good picture showing everything too...there: Though ALL fly under tiles are now Transparent, opaque transparent tiles don't exist anymore since .38 I think. By 'transparent', it means any pixel that is pure black (0,0,0) will be transparent.
