As per http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showtopic=21799 I have started changing things since the population didn't increase.

 

  • Guns and bombs no longer consume ammo (though they still require it be present for various technical reasons).
  • Gun and bomb sell prices were raised to their buy price.
  • Ammoless guns and bombs got small energy boosts, since the rest became ammoless. Shrappinger is the exception.
  • Neuts now drop owned.
  • Kill rewards are based solely on experience.
  • Flag rewards are based solely on population and team and enemy experience.
  • No jackpot.

Good as far as I can tell, but I cant tell much about flagging because the ******* priv team is trying to ruin it for everyone. I dont mind privs at all, I just dont think they should be allowed to flag for this exact reason.

 

Maybe someone tomorrow will tell me what the "rewards" are for the fg.

Well we did win 30k each and then another 5k each. But during the 5k each fg everyone specced so thats why we got 5k. Thats a loop hole to the reward of the jp. Everyone can just spec when someone is about to win. Doc you need to fix that.

Winning is MUCH too easy now. You can get flags together and win within 2 minutes of a new flag game, which was recently demonstrated. Even with everyone jumping into spec, the priv still made money extremely fast.

 

Edit: What I'm talking about is being able to neut to drop flags

I've disabled the neuts are owned by the team, since there are more ways to abuse it than I would have guessed. It may come back at some point if I can fix it.

 

I've also disabled private frequencies for the time being.

2 quick things brain, well for one i would like to say, love the changes so far, but the whole nueting thing, i saw one person just engine fail win, get flags, engine fail then win. and The whole no priv might decrease pop, since some people like to have more targets to fire at...

because this is a flagging zone not a run and hide while employing guerrilla tactics to eventually make easy vulches worth several hundred dollars zone. see other posts: effort:reward ratio out of whack there

max is 15 *15vs7 flag game

 

And one thing i disslike about the current money is that the least you get is $10, i think that maybe $30 would be more resonable since people who are better then others can only make $10 off every kill since bty was eliminated. and since bty was eliminated is there any reason for it to still be there?

I think bountying would stop these fast wins because people would rather bty then win. If anything lower jp winnings and just let btying be the main source of money. Like back in the day, people would be btying all fg until all the btyers died and then they would win. Jp would be enormously high and with high pubs. Btying could be a solution.
