Have you tried rebooting your computer?2. Does this always occur? Since when has it occured? What programs are you running? (I'm near 100% positive that your desktop is being affected by a non-standard program. Examples may potentially include iTunes and Safari.)3. Make sure that the Start Menu properties has context menus & drag-n-drop enabled. Right click on the Start button and select Properties, then Customize. Look for the "Enable context menus ... I bought this laptop through my school, and in hindsight, i shouldn't have.I would have rather had vista, but i didnt feel like buying XPDon't flame because you don't understand the cir!@#$%^&*stances. I would RATHER have XP. I HATE vista. its slow, and resource hog. but i don't want to lose the extremely good software and security suite that came with it.I also don't have ANY CDs that would have come with a computer I bought from dell or HP or w/e. (Except for office 07) so seriously cancer, shut the **** up. and TBH i kinda forgot about this problem.
