Figured i'd share too from my recent hiking trip. Girlfriend had never been to any mountains before, so figured I'd take her to one. Mt St Helens isn't being too active lately, so figured i'd take her to Mt Rainier.

hiked to Panorama Pt. (6800ft, ~1500 ft above the start). Camp Muir (little over 10,000ft) is last stop before climbing to peak (14411ft). Plan to hike to Camp Muir and then hopefully in next few years, climb to peak.

Hey, nice pictures. I was in Mount Rainier National Park a couple years ago, and it was beautiful. Not sure if I posted pictures on these forums or not. The peak looks deceptively close!

I hope to hike it some day too.

Glad you got to get into into the wilderness!

Yeah. When I was younger, my family use to go up there atleast once a month during the summer. Even camped at Cougar Campgrounds a few times.

I kinda miss camping... Used to go camping a lot with my dad back in the day. But I got school pretty much all year long now, so
