vetta64 Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Uhm so I got banned for being on two computer at the same time, which I realize might not have been the best idea since now I can't play HS today, and I actually have time to play and I know I'm missing out on some awesome basing games since Brain was so awesome as to bring back the pub limit again. Anyhow, what I wanted to say was that Banning might not always be the best diciplinary action by the mods. I am as I was told by HS hopelessly addicted and so Im not going to leave, but it occured to me that if I were new, and I was banned for a week that I would start playing in another zone, and after a week of playing in another zone I might be addicted there instead of HS. Or even worse I might play another game entirely.. Of course this will not happen to me and I'll come back and play when my week is up, but I thought that decreasing money, or degranting items, or money, or something related to HS might be more effective especially with some newer players, depending on the offense. Thanks. Quote
vetta64 Posted October 18, 2008 Author Report Posted October 18, 2008 Oh and I was also hoping, since this was my first official ban, if someone could post on the website what each ban number meant. That way it would be clear to everyone what was a bannable offense. Either way I really would like to come back and play now. See you all later. Quote
Hate The Fake Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 be thankful your not missing much, go try some other zones Quote

Lera Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 do you mean ban number by your BanID#?because thats not like a Reason Code... thats just an ID number. +1 for every ban made also most things are common sense.. like: WHY the !@#$%^&* are you playing on TWO computers at once? how do you think that that's a good a idea? vetta64 Posted October 18, 2008 Author Report Posted October 18, 2008 I know what I did that is not a question, I though that each ban offense had an !@#$%^&*ociated Ban # if that is not true then disregard that question, moving on. Quote

Suicide_Run Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 also most things are common sense..Common sense in Hyperspace? Why sir, you must delusional. This thread feels like a person trying to convince mods to unban him in a non-direct way. Quote

Do you think he's going to sit down and go, "Oh !@#$%^&*feathers."? i didnt think so Edited October 20, 2008 by rootbear75 Quote
Dr Brain Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 Cussing has no place in this zone. The rules have never changed. Mod enforcement has grown lax, but that doesn't mean you won't get punished if they happen to be non-afk. Quote
tcsoccer and neptune Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 who says !@#$%^&*feathers? is it even a word? Quote
protocol_ Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 !@#$%^&* feathers a word of exclaimation like "$h*&!". Used most often when angry about a mistake thats been made. Man 1: I totally missed that shot! AH !@#$%^&* feathers!!! Urban dictionary ftw!!!!! Quote
Stibbymicto Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 sounds kinky imoProtocol_>!@#$%^&*feathers you figured me out! Quote

Samapico Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 I know what I did that is not a question, I though that each ban offense had an !@#$%^&*ociated Ban # if that is not true then disregard that question, moving on.No one seem to have answered this yet... The BanID is a unique ID given to each individual ban, it's not !@#$%^&*ociated to a particular offense type. Mods/admins can add a ban comment with each ban that describe the offense, but these concern each individual ban, and often contains information that should not be disclosed (aliases, IP's, etc.) So yeah, disregard that question Also, your argument about new people getting banned leaving or whatever... You do get a warn first (for most offenses, anyway); if someone keeps breaking the rule(s) after a warn, chances are Brain's crew don't even want that person in the zone. Quality is more important than quan!@#$%^&*y <_< 10 nice people is more fun than 200 cheaters in a zone. Quote
