Hate The Fake Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Every few days my zone list completely erases. Today however my profiles all erased. Is there any way to prevent this =/

PoLiX Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 it is an error in Continuum loading the .dat files. Sometimes closing it and re-opening it right away fixes it. But it also sometimes will write over the existing files, and all is lost. Kind of an odd bug, never has been addressed really as it just is randomly caused, no commonly found situations even for those it happens to a lot.
Samapico Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 I suggest: Once you have your zone list right, close continuum, and go in your Continuum folder, make a copy of the files 'zones.dat' and 'profiles.dat' under another nameIf something goes wrong, just delete the bugged zones.dat or profiles.dat file, and rename your backup copy
