»doc flabby Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 (edited) Personally I think you need to take a leaf from TW's forum book and just ban people from the forum who are flaming/disrupting threads, doesn't matter who they are. You're too soft on these idiots Polix. Its your forum don't put up with this !@#$%^&*. Second point. All these people recommending "steam" and !@#$%^&* like that. We need a copyright free game before we can even go there. We do not own the rights to Continuum. I suggest you actually read the EULA you agreed to when you run the game... The good ideas that involve hard work (like redesigning the installer, developing a copyright free client, creating a tutorial zone, fixing the score site) seem to get very little support from the people who seem to talk alot but dont actually DO anything... And dont give the BS excuse of "i dont know how to". I didnt know how to do anything that im doing now on ss2. i went away and learnt !@#$%^&*, googled around to find solutions to my problems, asked people stuff I want to see the people who actually contribute to progress of this community get together and start to plan a way forward, because it can be done. Its the SMALL and BORING things (the polish) that make all the difference to the success of a game. Edited October 22, 2008 by doc flabby
Aceflyer Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 It comes down to BDE. They own the rights to Subspace. If we have their support for Steam, then we're home free.
