Suicide_Run Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 A bank robber got away with a bag full of money from an armored truck after successfully pulling out a perfect escape plan, straight out the final scene of the Thomas Crown Affair. The criminal used Craigslist to hire a dozen of decoys to confuse the police by asking them to come near the bank wearing a yellow vest, safety goggles, a respirator mask and a blue shirt which is what the criminal wore on that day. PoLiX Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 yeah, been all over the news. So far still hasn't been caught. He posted it as a job oppurtunity one of the guys said. Told him to show up wearing exactly what he did when he robbed the bank, and to meet him outside the bank. So when cops showed up, it took them a while to figure out who was who and wth was going on. By then someone reported they saw him hopping onto an intertube, and a few news copters chased him for a while, but somehow he dissapeared under a bunch of trees and noone found him yet. Just his intertube.
Cancer+ Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 When I read about this, I was quite amused. At least if you are going to rob a bank, do it in style. Even some of the residents of the town laughed about it and thought it was funny.
