Gannon8 Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Hi. Yeah, DCME is now crashing when it opens my new public map. Every other map I save can be opened again. I tried copying and registering all libraries that were in the DCME folder that were not there already, with no luck. So I guess I will attach my log and map.

But there's a chance you can get it to work if you add one dummy tiletext character. If that doesn't work, you'll have to get rid of [the tiletext characters] before saving. I can't provide you with a fixed version of the DCME exe right now, since I'm in the middle of updating lots of stuff... But if you do what I said (starting from the temporarily fixed map I made in the other topic), it should work.
Gannon8 Posted September 28, 2008 Author Report Posted September 28, 2008 Oh. Is there anyway to remove the elevel attributes from the file, because that is actually a totally different map. I had opened it and saved it perfectly fine for a couple of times...
Samapico Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 The problem is in the TileText data... Edit -> Edit Tile-text and just hit clear there ya go now if you need to use the TileText again, make sure you clear them before saving (until next release)Public.lvl
