Bargeld Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 I hate geocities. You can't have a hyperlink directly to an image like that, it says "page not available." (I already did the properties>paste to new browser window thing and saw them tho.)
mister manners Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 right click, click properties, and theres the url, but i do it for u... www.geocities.com/sagsag5/planets.jpg www.geocities.com/sagsag5/planets1.jpg sorry that {=^=} one got a bit dark, it had these green stars, 3 volumetric cubes makes a lot of stars the ship, it is kinda like a spider www.geocities.com/sagsag5/ships.jpg i was just screwing around when i did most of these... except the shiptest copy and paste in browser
warhunter Posted December 29, 2003 Author Report Posted December 29, 2003 This is turning into a little gallery huh...Guess I gotta flex my 3D muscle hehe.I made this a while ago and turned it into a wallpaper yesterday-----------------
warhunter Posted December 29, 2003 Author Report Posted December 29, 2003 Hmm, the other site died on me, heres a piano (Already posted)
Bargeld Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Heh, I like your balls, they are very good looking and have a great texture.
mister manners Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 did u like my stuff? :'(i do like ur stuff warhinrer/raine especially the piano if you did it
warhunter Posted December 30, 2003 Author Report Posted December 30, 2003 if i did it? of course i did it
mister manners Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 did u like my stuff? :'(um... do u like my stuff, for the 3rd time? the piano is nice
warhunter Posted December 30, 2003 Author Report Posted December 30, 2003 Its alright, not the best I've seen though. It looks a little flat and un-dynamic. Try adding DOF (Depth-of-Field) and some motion blur to those images.
warhunter Posted December 30, 2003 Author Report Posted December 30, 2003 Original color version (I like the B/W one more):
mister manners Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 i love it ^^ i like the one with color more... more vibrant
mister manners Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 its supposed to be real real balls dont usually have all that reflection, but it looks better that way, btw i did this in 30 minutes... add the www. geocities.com/sagsag5/30minutes.jpg
warhunter Posted December 30, 2003 Author Report Posted December 30, 2003 im not really done with the scene yet, i might add a pool table and a stick or something, not sure..
mister manners Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 im just extremely crappy st texturing and stuff...but a stick shouldn't be too hard, u could use 2 taperd cylinders, give chalk to one, and wood to the other... and a pool table, just make a fast green fuzz, hey... make it volumetric..... even though that would slow down render about 10-40 more minutes
pixelsoft Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 wow, warhunter, it looks really real, good job, that's amazing!you made it with bryce, right? and i love the piano too... and the ships of course
mister manners Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 probably bryce, but mabe 3dsmax, im just wondering about the texturres, i bet it would be possible though, just to have acouple over each other, like a nunber, and an alpha leayer for opacity and all hmm, inpressive
warhunter Posted December 31, 2003 Author Report Posted December 31, 2003 Bryce? Hahaha. Sorry but bryce isnt nearly capable of doing that. I used max.
mister manners Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 i ve had problems with using only .bmp or .jpg as a texture... i just am not good at texturing in max... actually, i just thought of making 2 balls, same size, same place, and using 1 for eack texture, but thats just plain dumb
