Bot help i need to know how to get more than one bot in an arena

hmm, my spawns.txt looks like:

 

BOT>Toolbox : p!@#$%^&**staffp!@#$%^&*: somearena: Generalbot,lagout,arenalist : :

BOT>Spawn : p!@#$%^&**staffp!@#$%^&*: somearena: Spawnbot : :

 

 

 

and both of them spawn without a problem. Are you sure the problem is having 2 at once? Or maybe your second one just can't enter? Invalid password or something like that, check the terminal too for any clues

well actually heres some more information cause i just did the !spawn and i tryed my bot and it says its already active so i tryed a name that wasnt active and it said if succesful it would be in the arena in 0 seconds so i waited and for a while and it didnt pop up. so now what?

Yeah, I would login first with the bot name just to make sure it is valid.

 

so it might be that but how do i login in with the bot?

 

Just login with the bot's name and password using Continuum.

Well so anyway i loggen in using my bot and im new at this stuff so maybe i did it wrong but i made a new username and logged in. then i clicked on my zone and it asked me if i would like to create new username. i said yes and then i went in and i logged in. Then when i typed !help to my bot it wouldnt display the god command list. so now im not sure what to do?

 

 

oh wait i think i know why it didnt show my god command list. i forgot its probally because i was logged on with the bot name and im not listed as an operator on the bot name. isnt that why?

Of course

 

Just check your bot's terminal, it should say something about being logged in as a sysop when it connects. If it doesn't, he's not sysop.

 

 

It should say 2 things:

 

EXE checksum and (random) server checksum were sent: I have VIP access in this zone! ...$

 

and a bit later

 

^^ I Am SysOp. Hear me roar!

 

If it doesn't, just read what the terminal says, it should give you clues

well yeah i guess its either my computer cant handle it or a bug unfound in MERVBot because i have him in vip,spawns, and sysop i dont know what else to do it just logs in the first bot the other bot it says nothing about and yes i logged in on the second bot worked perfectly

It might be a good idea to copy and paste the following files into a post:

 

spawns.txt

sysop.txt

vip.txt

mervbot.ini

 

Obviously, when you do this replace your password with * character, and when you make a post - read what you've posted, out loud - and then click the reply button.
