It must be so terrible not having a ship that's hard to hit, tanks a lot, recharges a lot, repels a lot, can cloak, etc.

1. People still use sharks and also, if fat mouse uses it, it's still good.

2. If a shark can get from the entrance to the flagroom with cloak already .. why up their energy...

It's not just because they lost Resonance Sphere that they are weak now, They lost about 1/4 of there initial recharge.

its small so it doesn't get hit as much.. it cant have EVERYTHING.

 

They were overpowered last reset, they needed this nerf.

I say they should get everything and more back, but make the shark a standard 2x2 ship. Maybe even make the shark like the way it was in the old days where you couldn't buy items for it, it was a free maxed out ship that everyone had.

Thats a horrible idea selling a maxed out ship to everyone

it was "maxed" in the sense you couldn't buy anything more for it

it only had a phaser-esque singlefire gun and only mediocre other stats, it was mostly for newbies starting out

 

no, this shark doesn't need resonance sphere. it may get another reactor available for it in the future that has a higher energy stat than the others, but this is not soon. no resonance sphere, for sure.

double the recharge, up the speed, decrease energy to 100 and no 1 will complain anymore

Sharks are fine, just learn to fly better. Maybe this will encourage new shark builds that work just as well.

We've had better base games now that the shark isnt around messing things up as much, they're still annoying, but nothing compared to before.

thats only because its after a reset and not everyone who wants a shark has bought one yet, including myself, not because its weakened.

Well after reset now and I'm sure plenty of people have had plenty chance to get a shark if they want.
