But I had to get permission from LiveForce first and he doesn't want us to go cause we are the most popular zone on SSI, sept for that of SSCI. The problem is we need SSL turned into SSCL Im guessing thats what it would be called. Could someone have Priitk or Dock look at this and help us make SSL into a SSC. I believe our zone would be a great contribution to SS and the players are missing out with this zone not being on SSC. Priitk I understand your a buisy guy and thats probably why you haven't email'd me back, but I would like to get some response to this. If not from you then from someone on the council. I need to know will this ever happen or do I need to search for an alternate SSC host because of 1st and lives friendship. Someone please respond! »Swift Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 It isn't LiveForce's decision at all. It is up to the zone owner and other sysops if they wish to move on. It's their zone, their map, settings, lvz's etc. You make the decision ultimately if it is for the betterment of the zone.

I do pay for the bandwidth the server uses, and I don't really feel like spending an extra $250 a month just on bandwidth costs.

DS filled the bandwidth#2 if you can think of another SSC host that'll take you, feel free to move#3 Don't take SSC for granted. Just having population doesn't mean you're guaranteed SSC billing.

ExplodyThingy Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Actually, they do have a consistant population that may be worthy of SSC. That caused their population spike, thats true, but I believe they could sustain those levels on SSC.
SVS Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 I visited the zone recently (to have them remove a tileset they were using without permission, however it was not the zone owners fault and they cooperated fully) and I was shown around. There are a lot of nice shipsets in that zone and I think it has a lot of potintial, if not as a playing zone then as a dev zone. Unfortunitely I do not believe there are any SSC hosts available right now. SSCI is full, SSCC is not accepting other zones at this time (if ever), and I believe SSCX 2 is also full. That means for now they must remain off of SSC, which I do not believe is a bad thing.

As of now, I've had no reply from my email what, a month ago to Priit asking if this is possible.That is the only zone I'd host on SSC at the moment.. so the question over the weight on the biller is okay. (Except for existing SSC zones which would like to switch servers)Is there a chance Priit reads this?

If you are still intrested go into an SSC zone and pm yarekim, if he is not on or he is and does not respond leave him a billing message by typing ?message yarekim:message.

We out do several SSC zones when it comes to population and development. I would love to go to go to your friends SSC server SVS. But the thing i find most to be why my opinion is better than a few of the others is that i have spent time in the zone.Im not some person who heard about it through a friend or forum and decided to go into it a few minutes critique it,break it down, and then totally downgrade it because there were a few small things i dislike about it.Please stop judging the zone on things you find to be a problem or things that stick out to you.Everyone has different oppinions.Thats why George Bush is president of the USA
