zKHAOSh Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 i used to play ss alot and before i quit i played alot of extreme games and trench wars. i just got back into it a few weeks ago and its saying that the eg zone is down. i checked the eg website and it seems that this isnt a universal problem so i guess its just my computer or something. if you know how i can fix it and start playing eg again please tell me. same thing with halo ctf..help me out.
★ Purge Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 I'm guessing you didn't update your zone list. Click on "Zones" then hit "Download" toward the bottom left. Add the zones you want then click "OK".
Noobclear Missile Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) I have the same problem (hyperspace) but I HAVE updated the zones. A bunch of them still show up as red, zones that I know aren't down. I'm using:sscentral.sscuservers.netsscentral.trenchwars.orgsscentral.subspacedownloads.com as server directories incase that's an issue. Edited September 16, 2008 by Noobclear Missile
Hakaku Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 I have the same problem (hyperspace) but I HAVE updated the zones. A bunch of them still show up as red, zones that I know aren't down. I'm using:sscentral.sscuservers.netsscentral.trenchwars.orgsscentral.subspacedownloads.com as server directories incase that's an issue. Two of those directory servers are wrong, copy + paste this instead:sscentral.sscuservers.net, ssdir.playsubspace.com, warpath.bluetoast.org, sharvil.nanavati.net, dir.cz.sshq.netAlso, before downloading a zone, first remove it from the list (double click the zone's name so that it's not green), then click the download button and re-add the zones you want. In addition to this, make sure Continuum isn't being blocked by any firewalls you have running. They're generally the number one cause for preventing Continuum from connecting. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v138/zacinu/SubSpacebannt2.pngPSPACE (SourceForge) - Alternative client (source) to Continuum
