I read all of Polix's prerecorded answers to try and fix this but I can't get continuum to run on my computer at work.

When I first install continuum I can run it sometimes but then I can't open it again after that. I click on the icon and nothing happens.

How do I figure out what is in conflict and close it.

I am running xp. there is a firewall that I don't know if I got rid of completely. And I did check the DEP that is set to not all programs.

Check the task manager to make sure it exited out completely.

Make sure to add Continuum.exe to Windows' DEP exception list. Even if you try to disable it, you should still do this.

This worked, thank you.

For those who want to do what Hakaku said:

My Computer >> right click, 'Properties' (System Properties) >> Advanced tab >> under Performance 'Settings' >> Data Execution Prevention tab >> 2nd Option (...except those I select) >> 'Add' find Continuum.exe >> OK all
