What the !@#$%^&* is XP Antivirus 2008? And what the !@#$%^&* is the easiest way to get rid of it(besides reformatting)?

Uninstall XPAntivirus.lnk

Uninstall XP Antivirus 2008.lnk

 

Remove XP Antivirus 2008 Registry Values:

I bet that page is there to seal the deal. Probably in cahoots with the XP AV 2008. I'm a little skeptical. I saw that one and a fair amount of others all with different solutions.

 

Anybody had any experience with this?

 

My computer still runs btw, but it's slow as your mother.

Just download a real virus scanner .... it'll detect and delete .... just do it in safe mode.
