Guest Canadian Bad A$$ Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 What kinds or wav files are supported and what isn't. It seems anything that makes a file size nice and small isn't supported and the trial and error is really annoying. And what's the limit on victory music before it loops?
shazbot Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 I've never tryed anything else but im pretty sure wav is the only format you can use.
Yupa Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 you've seen it accept some and not others? use the ones it accepts or wait for ekted or somebody to reply, maybe they can give you some fancy name for specific wav type
Evil Jin Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 lol nice and simple it should be. but ivwe never tried to many wavs so stick with the normal ones till priitk gets it to support mp3
»SOS Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 It has accepted 99% of my wavs. The 1% is probably just bad sound settings in Continuum or a bad driver.
DeadlySoldier!! Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 Hmm, in the sounds folder they are saved a wa2 are they not.
Mr Ekted Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 Cont currently supports only WAV's, but you can do a lot do reduce file size. When I record a raw wave, it's 44KHz stereo. I can reduce the file by 8x by converting it to 11KHz mono. There was some discussion about supporting the Vorbis OGG format, but I haven't seen anything definite.
