If you have specific suggestions or comments on what you'd like to see added (or taken out) at MERVBot.com, please post them here - RiiStar and I will be happy to hear from you! :(

If you want to submit a plugin or other resource to the site, please email me and/or RiiStar; our email addresses can be found at MERVBot.com in the footer of each page. Be sure to include the following information in your email:

1) the plugin or resource itself, preferably with the source (if applicable);

2) brief description of your plugin or resource (feel free to check the plugins page for other people's descriptions);

3) your main SubSpace/Continuum username/alias;

4) whether you want to be credited on the site (or if you would prefer to keep it as an anonymous submission);

5) if you want to be credited, whether you want to include an email address as well.

Any questions feel free to post in this thread or email one or both of us! smile.gif

Good job redesigning the site. Perhaps you should also have the source coupled with the plugin as Catid previously did with the plugins hosted on his site (for any additional plugin submissions).

Thanks Purge.

Agreed; edited my original post. smile.gif

I released a v12 or something of SSBilling2 somewhere, not sure if I included the source code. It isn't stable and it still has some bugs that need fixing. Overall, Catid's biller isn't worth trying to fix, but rather recreating his biller from ground up, scratch.

Yeah.

Er, sorry, but I'm not sure what exactly you want us to do? Are you saying we should add a disclaimer to Catid's biller saying that it isn't worth trying to fix?

If you do that, you'd have to add my v12 release or whatever and put my comment underneath that -- but perhaps you should also seek for third party opinions to see if I might have the wrong kind of strategy or approach to this. >.<

Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. I will do as you suggest. smile.gif

I want everything that Aceflyer "added" taken out
rootbear, I haven't had any quarrels with you, but you really need to chill out and take a break. I don't like this at!@#$%^&*ude. That isn't constructive criticism; that's personal and you know it.

im chill right now

I don't like what he's done for the site. whats wrong with personal opinion?

but if you want a suggestion:

Add a filter to sort the plugins by different things:

Version number, alphabetically, date added, date updated, etc.

A reasonable suggestion. After further consideration though:

> There's only one available version of most of the plugins there.

> They are already sorted alphabetically.

> What would be the point of sorting them by date updated or date added? Usually when people look for a plugin, they're looking for a plugin with specific functions; usually people don't just randomly decide they want, say, the most recently updated plugin with no regard as to what it does. blum.gif

Note that I haven't discussed this with RiiStar, and this could potentially be something we actually implement at some point down the road, but atm, in my humble opinion I don't see a real need for this.

Version number sorts all of the plugins by their version number

so say version 2 of one plugin would be in front of version 1 of another

and the sort is just to browse. Say something got added, you clikc "Date Added/Updated" to see which ones were recently updated or added.

You should make the headlines a different color than the default text (red, perhaps) so they can be easily seen. You may also want to add section links at the top of the page so users may click to which section of the page they want to view.

Will do, thanks Purge!

Instead of making a links page why not just include the network.sscentral.com bar?
I think that should be a standard for all Subspace related sites (which is to have the network.sscentral.com bar). :rolleyes: It would help to unite all the sites, or atleast in some way.

That is a great bar, however it lacks many of the links that are currently referenced at MERVBot.com.

But would it hurt to add it to the page?

Sure, it could be added. It wouldn't replace the links page currently there, though.

Download

by 50% Packetloss [FiftyPacketloss@socal.rr.com]

Checks antiwarp. Checks teamkills. Checks safekills. Announces jackpot on greet and periodically. Analyzes statistics from each flag game; displays them on a victory. New: Checks uneven teams. Displays flag coordinates periodically. Rebuilt to hopefully fix antiwarp bug.
