L.C. I don't quite get why. They introduced this new logic/concept (new to me at least) to me which has to do with scaling at resolutions around what 22" monitors and larger support. They say that at 22" and above I should get a certain high-end range of cards, while anything less than 22" I should stick with weaker cards. What's this? Even though it may be true -- on a 15" monitor, why should I get an HD4850 over a GTX260? Wouldn't the GTX260 pump out better framerates for me?
Chambahs Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 I myself just finished purchasing the HD4850. It was between the XFX Gefoce 9800GTX for 200 bucks or the HD4850 for 180-30$MIR. Looked at reviews and the HD4850 beat the 9800GTX as far as single card goes, but 2 9800GTXs beat 2 HD4850s.
