the reason that priv team thing wouldnt work is cause if so many ppl had it, then they could stack a team and be un beatable.

Forgot to add to make a limit of 5 or something, that way you cant go that high.

 

There are lots of options, also cheap options.

 

ie: Overall power strip: Adds onto your ship you're currently in +1/+1

- So whatever ship you're in gets the benefit

I'd like to be able to see flags from spec.

 

Maybe put in a delay? Turn it on when you want to see flags, and you cant leave spec for 1 minute after you turn it off. That could work, without making it too rigged.

 

Also, if the warehouse was opened, maybe allow items that can increase warehouse space, etc. Or is warehouse already unlimited space? If so, that'd be pretty gay.

 

What about some items that allow ships to decrease flag timer? Or increase ball timer? Those would be pretty interesting.

Not trying to ruin the mood but...I suggested this idea about 1.5 years ago at this post. Either brain is still considering/making/forgotten about it or he dislike it.

 

Im pretty sure its the latter.

I'm going to try to roll Unix's ideas into a single item:

 

Name: Ring of Abusiveness (not a Signature)

Description: A ring that is !@#$%^&*ociated to the account and not any particular ship, granting its owner useful powers.

Cost: $2M

Commands:

?steal - takes another player's money and adds it to your account

?hop - power hop to another freq, ignoring freq limits and passwords

?boot - kicks a player off of your freq into spec

?snoop - snoop on enemy team chat

?snoop - snoop on player private messages

?invis - toggles super cloak not detectable by x-radar

?addclock - adds seconds to the flag game clock to prevent team from winning

?forcedrop - forces flag carrier to drop flags wherever they are

?summon - forces a player to attach to you, even if they are on another team

?autowarp - automatically warps you away to a random location if your energy goes below 300

?leech - leeches kill money from freq, even if they are enemy

?quickrunwin - changes player to a new priv freq, summons all flags to player and reduces game clock to zero

 

I think you'll agree that this item would be very useful.

Not a bug, but a useful new item category that's being suggested and some ppl like it.

 

People who either lack brains, or smell a chance to use their millions on something that'll make them hugely overpowered.

Uberlawl! That would be so awesome to have... although it'll be probably more than 2mil. More like 200mil. Also, u need to make it so that none of the mods or admins can buy it, its only for regular players.

how about an item that makes it impossible for enemy's to spec you, making it so that they have to find you on map if they are looking for you.

With the new system, there will be items that are per player rather than per ship. There will *not* be insane abuse items. The idea is for things like TW Key.
