rootbear75 Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 My enter button does something else!wow.. how dense are you? Quote
op2rules Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 No they are actually pretty good. I like them. I've used the kp before as my main arrowkeys, it adds a lot more buttons closer than when using the arrowkeys. it really differs from keyboard to keyboard though. He might even have a joystick/w/e and set it to kp buttons or w/e Just saying its a cool layout though. I'm always using the defaults though. Quote
Acer Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 (edited) O_o His controls are confusing.. Mine are simpler..A lot simpler.. Edited July 17, 2008 by Acer101 Quote

»Ceiu Posted July 17, 2008 Author Report Posted July 17, 2008 X`!@#$%^&*ia, put your stupid hands on the keyboard once and you'll quickly see why I use this setup: Left hand:- Middle finger on tab, pointer on q. Thumb sits on alt, which happens to be next to space. Pinky can curl and hit ctrl easily. Pointer can hit q, a, z. Middle can hit `.- Without moving my left hand, I can gun, bomb, repel, mine, thor, brick, decoy and activate burners. Right hand:- Middle finger on Numpad8, pointer and ring on 4 and 6 respectively. Thumb rests on down arrow, pinky rests on numpad_return. Entire numpad is easily accessible.- Movement is simple enough, burst and rocket are fired by pointer and ring finger. Multifire toggle is done with pinky and any utility toggling is done with my thumb (as well as the minimap, which is on numpad0). With this setup, every in-game function is performed with a single keystroke without requiring me to move my hands away from a different function. This, among other reasons, is why I'm better than most of you. Quote
op2rules Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 Yea I don't think he would organize something that actually makes sense like that JUST to prove that people should be pressing enter and not ".". Quote
