f3ar-evil Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) Yes, Cerium did this, But I have a feeling that Cerium was quite mad at the general HS population while he was doing it so here goes my version: First, open the continuum client. Click the Profile button. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e11/knightshado1/window.jpg It will bring up a window with some general information on it. Now, go to the Key Defs button. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e11/knightshado1/keydefs.jpg After this, it should bring up all of your button commands. First, make the attach button something else. In this example, I will use "`" http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e11/knightshado1/f71.jpg Then, go to the macro section, and add f7 to it. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e11/knightshado1/f7.jpg See? not that hard. Now, click ok at the bottom left. Also, you may want to make this a seperate keyset by clicking on "new" then naming it.Then click "Defaults" and then do the changes listed above. Now, Go to Macros http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e11/knightshado1/macros.jpg In here, you will find all of your macros. In the f7 box, type /?attach http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e11/knightshado1/macrof7.jpg And there you have it. Also, to clear up what /?attach does Let's take ships 1-7. (forget shark for now) IN size order from biggest to smallest the ships go from Lancaster (7) --> Spider (3) + Leviathan (4) ----> Terrier (5) + Weasel (6) -----> Warbird (1) + Javelin (2) Now, a Warbird or Jav may attach to ANY of the ships listed above, but they cannot attach to one another A Terrier and Weasel may attach to any ship that is bigger than them, but again not to one another. A Spider or Leviathan May only attach to a lancaster Lancasters may only attach to each other. Note that if you attach to a ship other than a lancaster, you will be immediately detached. However, sharks are the exceptions. Sharks may ONLY ATTACH TO LANCASTERS. That is all I have to say, feel free to comment -f3ar Edited August 15, 2008 by f3ar-evil Quote
Sharpflame Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Noice. I seriously never thought of making a macro work on F1-F12 without shift being held. Haha. Quote
vetta64 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Kudos. Unfortunately the people who rly need to help probably arent on the forum, but kudos anyway. Quote
rootbear75 Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 wow... its seriously not that hard to hit Shift+F7 to attach...lazy.. Quote
Pity. Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 wow... its seriously not that hard to hit Shift+F7 to attach...lazy.. rootbear Stfu and no, it's hard to hit Shift+F7 to attach since moving while shifting moves energy, therefore, you cannot attach. Now stfu. Quote

Unix Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 For someone who doesnt play the zone, you sure think you know how to play. Quote
op2rules Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Hah thats such a good idea! thanks f3ar Quote
Suicide_Run Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 For someone who doesnt play the zone, you sure think you know how to play.Wait...how does playing in HS makes you more knowledgeable in pressing macros? Kudos to fear for taking the time to add pics so people can understand easier. Though I dunno about you root, but I use my left hand for pressing both Shift + F7 Guess we are different =) Quote
Unix Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 If he knew how to play in HS, he'd understand why it's not reasonable to use shift F7 as an attach button since if you were to attach to a non-summon ship, you would need 100% energy, if you lose even a little, you lose your attach, and if you lose your attach that second, who knows what can happen, you get anti'd what not, etc etc. Quote
»D1st0rt Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 y whine, nobody is forcing you to use macros Quote
rootbear75 Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 (edited) For someone who doesnt play the zone, you sure think you know how to play.I can pwn ur !@#$%^&* in any zone where we have equal ships...Wanna do a duel in TW? NO CAUSE YOU SUCK W/O HAVING SHIPS THAT OVERPOWER OTHER PPL. GG If he knew how to play in HS, he'd understand why it's not reasonable to use shift F7 as an attach button since if you were to attach to a non-summon ship, you would need 100% energy, if you lose even a little, you lose your attach, and if you lose your attach that second, who knows what can happen, you get anti'd what not, etc etc.i stopped playing HS cause it became gay after all of the new items were introduced.Sorry if im not a RPG type of guy... and taking ur hand off the "UP" button for a second WILL NOT SLOW YOU DOWN.. Suicide_Run Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 Unix either your a troll or your brain is located in your rectum, take your pick. Playing in HS doesn't not make you more knowledgeable....all zones are like that if they had Shift + F7 as attach. I guess certain people's fingers are shorter.....to a point where pressing the Shift button and F7 button is impossible with 1 hand. Why don't you guys map your Attach function as the space bar if your having so much trouble pressing 1-2 buttons on the upper area of your keyboard? Quote
spidernl Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 Fear, you got that idea from me and now you post it as if it's your own, I demand 2 million. --Or, I might just be weird right now and should not continue this post. Quote
