Energy Infusion

I think energy infusions should be allowed back into lanc. Reason?

 

As we all know the new bursts hurt a lot, 2 burst and a few bullets can kill a lanc unless you get a Radiating Coils. Ok yea that solves the problem right?!

 

Wrong! because without Shock Matrix as armour your lanc is vulnerable to even the smallest thor storm! (about 4 to 6 thors) so then you'd die and loose the base.

 

Some might argue "Then get Ampere!" well the point is, Ampere is a signature and so is Radiating Coils.

I guess what i'm trying to say is lancs need energy infusion to keep them alive either from Thors or Bursts. cause 1 of them FOR SURE has to be a lanc's weakness. so yea, energy infusion should be allowed in lanc again.

I don't think energy infusion should be allowed on lanc, Why? Because a Lanc shouldn't be up front they should be in back and let every one else rush. And When you see a burst BACK UPorREPEL. Same goes with thors. Choose between energy or radiating coils. Edited July 2, 2008 by Acer101

u say as if lancs are the speed of sharks! u cant really back up much if a shark get past your base, go to the lanc, burst, then rep the lanc INTO the burst... and u cant really repel thors cause their prox is too huge! Edited July 2, 2008 by tiss61

Arnk was working on a way for lanc to use EI or some other form of it solely for lanc - Even if they could it wouldnt be good. Gotta go to base 8 and one time use, not to mention uses a mount spot.

repel for burst is temporary it still bounces back at you. and if u read then you'll see that i was talking about when there's only 1 lanc. and ad? lol not everyone's rich like you!

I am not rich, I have as much money as you. And you repel so you can back up or more forwarder to avoid the burst/the rusher...And if you see enough burst shrap that can kill you rep again..And if you don't have any other repels left ask a team mate to repel the burst or make a macro that tells your team mates your energy, i'm sure some one will respond to it enough to help...

 

And i see lots of lanc's with out burst armor do this fine...And with out a ampere..

I dont even have a sig on my lanc and I dont see a problem with bursts

if you want to waste your time getting one, and have a brick mount in the first place..sure I guess?

but yeah it was disallowed in the first place because lancs were planned to have so much energy that it would just be ridiculous.. and look at that, they have even more energy now than they did ever.

you told us in the beginning when people talked about lanc not being able to use EI

 

Same thing about adding a special burst mount or something when you took away burst from siege mount
