I am currently running a zone that is dedicated for ASSS Development purposes. So if anyone needs an ASSS zone to dev in thats connected to the SSC biller, let me know.

 

Currently hosted thanks to Snrrrub.

 

Rules are simple:

 

You will be given access to upload files, modules, maps, settings, and pretty much everything that is needed.

 

You will be placed in a certain staff group that restricts you from using things you wont be needing. Ex: ?Shutdown

 

If you try to damage the zone or security of the zone in any way, your arena will be removed and you will be netbanned.

 

You will not be provided with FTP, everything you need can be done ingame.

 

Respect other devving arenas, and follow their rules. If they ask you to leave, leave.

 

Do not silence, kick, ban/ect any players that are not in your arena.

 

We are by no means obligated to help you or host you, we are doing this to help people that are serious about opening a zone.

 

If we really like your ideas/development we will help you get an SSC slot of your own and offer hosting to your completed project.

 

Your dev hosting stops after you have established a steady number of players or if the zone is completed and we feel like giving ya the boot

 

 

 

Specs: Because I know you will ask:

 

Ram: 1.7GB

CPU: 1.2GHz Opteron equivalent

Bandwidth: 250Mbit dedicated local network bandwidth

OS: Linux

My ASSS dev zone is also hosted privately by Snrrrub, I must admit, the server is excellent.

Oh wow I didn't notice there was another thread made for this.
