Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't....I don't know about anyone else, but it is kinda annoying. You think your getting something for your ammo, but you're not. Why scam us?

It been several months, why not fix it already. This was supposed to be a help to the matter of ammo. It's only given us false hopes, of having acquired more ammo.

Was this not supposed to make us happy about having to pay for ammo? Or was "make them think they are getting" the plan this whole time?

Well while the ammo topic is still up, i really think even if you don't have a siege mount or whatever (thing that holds for example, thors) you should still be able to green thors and sell them on spawn. Maybe trade them?

Back on topic here, I never really noticed the ammo not coming in, if I use my shredder wisely, well... I just don't run out of ammo. Period. Even if I do, a full refil only costs 50 bty so I don't really mind it. But if its gunna be there it should work.

Anyone else really hate it when you make a valid point about a game and some random guy comes in with an anecdote about how he doesn't have a problem with it because he resricts/ruins his gameplay to avoid it? Such statements are always followed by 'Even if I do have this problem, I personally don't mind the massive penalty.'

And if greening worked, I'd totally just fly around in a warbird with a combo mount greening reps, bursts, and thors, and selling them.

This is a good question to which I have no answer. Arnk Dylie created the module, and knows it has been broken for a long time. I'm not sure why it hasn't been fixed. Either he doesn't know what's wrong with it, or hasn't had time to fix it (or some combination of the two).

On the other hand, I'm not exactly free of blame. I haven't taken the time to fix it myself or write my own.

LOL. YEAH SCAM MAN U GOT US

WHY DON'T YOU FIX IT GENIUS

Doc: The latter. Could fix it this weekend. In the mean time I've just been applying the necessary commands to get it to work, required once every crash/recycle, every time I come online.

If you feel you could get significant profit selling greened items, go for it. They account for maybe 25% of all greens anyway, so if you're making all of the kills you're going to make more from the kills than you would on average from selling the greens by far.

Maybe you should be more active in hs like you are on the forums. Then something might get done?

WHY DON'T YOU FIX IT GENIUS

I have been playing HS a lot.. doesn't mean I have the time to be mad codin'. You know SS is a hobby/something to do in free time? Well I don't spend my free time working.

y cry, u don't do anything productive at all, get a grip

or at least be consistent and yell at everyone for not following your orders and doing everything you want

lol kilo, ysoemo when i say something needs to be done, its like i called yo momma a !@#$%^&*. That reminds me.

it's just that i don't recall you paying the staff to do anything let alone what you want them to do

and then acting like a !@#$%^&* with stupid forum rabble conspiracies

u kno?

Well, correct me if im wrong, but last time i checked, the Developer is supposed to do work, for he is a member of the developement team(not that there are many devs in hyperspace anyway). And that position doesnt get paid. They do it because they want to keep their job. If you aren't going to do anything, OR if you demand pay for it, then hand over the developer position to somebody that will actually do work. Edited by 15th

Well kilo, Just try to get it done when ever you can. And thanks for everything you've done for hyperspace. I know I can't pay you in large wads of HS money but I can give you my respect, If that means anything to you. give_rose.gif drinks.gif

Don't think people are part of the dev team because it's their "job", its more like a interest/hobby. Besides, not many people have the ability/knowledge/time to dev for HS.

People needs to stop treating subspace zone staff like a real life game company. Stop expecting this, expecting that. Just pray that they have the time to fix the problem.

Okay, I will correct you because you are wrong. The people we currently have on the development team are just about the only people in all of subspace with the requisite knowledge and understanding to do the work. Nobody in this game gets paid, we all do it because we enjoy it (though its not always peachy dealing with you knuckleheads). Also, we're in college now and Doc is married so this isn't the #1 priority in our lives. Bottom line is, anyone to whom we would "hand over the position to" wouldn't be as productive as the guy we have now.

Also it's not like it's an exclusive position. HS and every other zone hopefully is taking whatever they can get.. and even so there's a very high demand for even mediocre coders because you can count on two hands the number of great coders in all of SS. Bottom line is I never "demanded pay" but I was driving home the point that we (Doc, D1, myself) do not get paid and do what we do for the betterment of the zone in our free time, and yet certain people with a loose grasp on reality act as if when they enter Hyperspace they are entering a real-life store (nevermind the part where they don't pay.) Also, since you collectively will never fund any coder in SS the amount of money he should be making for his time, then you really need to get a grip and let them do things as they can. Most of them aren't really high profile about that stuff anyway (at least until you throw it back in their faces.)

Eh, never made me angry, you'd have to actually be a good troll to accomplish that. But the at!@#$%^&*ude was still uncalled for.

Why fire "inactive" coders? It's not like there is any cost to keeping them on the staff list. There are as many dev spots as we want. They can't step down and hand their position to someone else, because that someone else would have already been hired.
