There should really be some sort of explanation of how this gametype works, so people have some sort of idea what they're supposed to be doing.

I almost always explain how it works before the first game in a set starts. Have you joined in the middle or do you not read green messages

I would say make a F1 text....but no one ever reads that anyways =/

 

Maybe you can add a module that responds to ?rules for events. It tells the main purpose so people stops asking? Random thoughts

I agree, an F1 text is nice. Ya, some won't read it, but some do. Those who do will read it and not have to ask the same questions, which could mean less work for you in the long run and could build interest in those curious enough to check for it.
