No Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages will be tolerated. Any SPAM threads will be moved to the SPAM forum, and any SPAM posts deleted. The poster will be warned, and continued violations will end in a ban. 3. Any off topic posts will either be deleted, or if multiple, will be seperated from the original thread. If you must go off topic, quote and create a new thread. 4. No reviving old dead topics. They stopped being active for a reason, don't bring them back from the dead. 5. Respect the Moderators of the forum, and let them do their job. They are just upholding the rules of the Forum Admins. 6. Signature sizes that are larger then 300px height on screen are not allowed. Signatures that force the page layout to extend in width are also not allowed (on resolutions of 800x600 and higher). If you do not meet these requirements you will be warned and asked to downsize the signature. Once you've downsized your signature to the appropriate size, your warning level will be lowered. If you do not resize your signature within 3 days, your signature will be permanently disabled. 7. Signatures having text or images that are in violation of rules 1, 2 or 5 will be removed/disabled without prior warning. Signatures being disruptive to the view of topics in one way or another (flashing animations for example) will be dealt with in the same way as stated by rule 6. These rules will be upheld without any questioning by the Forum Moderators and Administrators. They have all right to delete/edit/move any threads or posts without discretion.Any questions or comments are to be posted in the Feedback and Support Forum. It doesn't say we can't swear, Aceflyer seems to think that pointing an offensive word at somebody is swearing. Please tell him he's a newb. (That's also not a flame, just for clarification) This complete forum isn't hyperspace, can somebody please tell Aceflyer that editing every post with a slight flame is re!@#$%^&*ed, as they then come across completely different and uncomprehending once edited. If he wants to make SSForum great for kiddies (Kids shouldn't be allowed on Internet forums anyway) - then at least tell him to hide the flame, not completely delete it. Also, on another note. Why do Wiki Moderators moderate the General Forums, isn't that the job of the General Moderators? Thanks in advance, -Lynx
Incomplete Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Well the Wiki mods have the power to change / edit posts in the General discussion, just as General Mods have the power in Wiki. The idea is that if no Gen mods are on and something comes up then wiki mod(s) will be able to handle the situation. However I do feel that the Wiki Mods do more than the Gen mods in the Gen discussion. Most of the General Discussion should be left to the General Mods unless it's really urgent.

It's not like these forums need strict moderation, and it's not like there's not enough General Moderators to moderate the General forums. :/ -Lynx

Aceflyer Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 There is nothing wrong with swearing, nor have I ever edited any post for swearing. However, Wiki Moderators' powers in most boards have been revoked. This should end this issue.
