Gar Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Is this possible? You (freq 0) drop a one-block brick that is aligned with the other team (freq 1) (or if possible, every team but yours). This one-block brick appears in front of you and only lasts 2 seconds. The idea is that you hit it with your ship and bounce back the other way without needing a wall. I'd kill for something like this. Quote
tcsoccerman Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 I haven't played hs in a while, but when i read the !@#$%^&*le of the topic, and latter the post, only one thing came to mind. This would just promote brickwarping. Quote
Dr Brain Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 High speed bounces are easier to achieve using other methods than bricks. Sending a warp packet with a different velocity would do the job. I don't know if you've ever had your velocity updated by the bounty setter while you're in a safety, but it's the same mechanism. Quote
Gar Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 Alright, then a nodrop brick that reverses your velocity Quote
