Just an Idea

This is just an idea i threw out to Vile Requiem in staff chat...so here it is.

 

We want 17th population to grow as much as possible, so I came up with this stupid idea

 

1. Anyone can make a Frequency

 

I think that letting anyone make a frequency will somewhat bring more people to the zone. If a squad wants to team, such as the Kent Squad, they should be able to make a frequency to practice controlling a base for maybe publeague or something else along those lines.

 

2. The Goals will be made so any freq can score on them.

 

I think doing this will bring more people to 17th too

 

3. Widen the bases about 5-7 tiles in some areas.

 

There will be more space for people to get through easier, but also make the other team work harder to keep control

Not a bad idea, you would have to change the bot a bit though, and prehaps the map : / Something like 5 goals by a frequency delcares them the winner instead. Would be different gotta say that, almost reminds me of infantry.

 

Would require alot of change thinking about it, prehaps something to be done by the good map designers? Interesting though

nice idea...will probably help this zone. Even though vile's new scoring system was godly...i think this idea should be looked into

With said system you have 2 goals that any team can score in. If said one base is occupied, perhaps the other base isn't which means free and easy goal.

 

With said system you can create super turrets that are bent on killing everyone and the gameplay. With said system you can kill public teams totally and new players entering the zone will start leaving because they find out they can't compete with 2 or more against 1 odds.

There is a idea about a single base with one goal both freqs can score in somewhat under construction.

Sounds like the current turrets we have at the moment to me, so whats the difference? Considering you can only have 2 people attached as a turret and most wont have 6 people online to make 2 turrets while a pub frequency then there wouldnt be any difference.

 

And of course everything reminds me of something Joker, without it I couldnt compare and say thats a great idea

 

And prehaps we should have one big base instead of these two then? A change in the zone map would be nice, so by implementing this wouldnt be such a bad idea I suppose, not like the zone is going anywhere at the moment a little change wouldnt hurt.

Instead of having 1 team with a turret on it, you have 3 teams and one of those teams has too few players for any of them on it to keep interest in playing. It would be worse than it is now because those few players left on the team would not be able to handle the turret at all.

Make that base at top of the map cause the bases , east and west are easy to get into you need a flag in the 1 base also it will make good teamwork to get it and itll be fun +.-
