Hakaku Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 Are you one a wireless connection? Does this happen in every zone? It seems from the trace that you have a firewall blocking it, so I can't really tell whether or not the lag is caused by your connection or the server's. Hakaku Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Don't worry about the trace too much, it seems the server is at fault (4.8%) according to your packetloss, meaning that somewhere between your ISP and the server you're getting lag/packetloss. Seeing how you also have wireless, the 0.3% should be expected (I myself get 3.9%).Basically if the problem is recent, the lag might just go away in a bit. But for now all I can recommend you is to avoid running other applications in the background and be as near as possible to your modem to see if it affects your lag.
