Suicide_Run Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 (edited) Racking your brain for an idea to give to your friend/family/co-worker or maybe just for yourself? This is....might be the best idea for you if you like to give that person a surprise...and yourself too lol SomethingStore is a fun new website that operates simply: We will send you something, an item selected randomly among many things from our inventory, for $10 (free shipping) and you will find out what your something is when you receive it. What will yours be?Maybe you can get a leather wallet from fossil....or a duct tape wallet.....it could be something else but there is a list of things they will not send. Visit their site for a tracker which shows you some of the something they have sent out. The SomethingStore So who will think about buying one? Edited May 13, 2008 by Suicide_Run
rootbear75 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 (edited) i looked at the "recently shipped somethings" page, and some of the !@#$%^&* they sent seems pretty pricey... a couple of the items on there are from ThinkGeek, and go for about 30-60$ how the !@#$%^&* do they make money? Suicide_Run Posted May 14, 2008 Author Report Posted May 14, 2008 Maybe its fake stuff root. Well they suckered enough people to buy their something lol
Aceflyer Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 by not listing the pencils and plastic keychains in the 'recently shipped somethings' page They must send a lot of stuff that is cheaper than ~$7 (because the $10 you pay includes shipping and handling) in order to turn a profit. The items that are worth over $10 are probably very rare.
