Guest aliasvfx Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Ive installed the game and made the profile. For some reason, every time I try to connect to a game..... it says connection to server lost....... what am I doing wrong ?
»Purge Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Are you connecting to the zones in green? Try refreshing your zone/server list by going to your profile and clicking the "Download list" button to retrieve the online zones. Then just add the zones you want by double clicking on the names so that they become bold. If you are connecting through a university or other school, then the ports may be blocked.

Finally had a dream about it and found it...... now I cant even play it !!!!!!
Hakaku Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Try completely disabling your firewalls (i.e. close all of them), then run Continuum to see if it works.

I uninstalled it .... reinstalled it. Turned off all firewalls, and still getting msg " Connection to server lost " Internet connection is strong, starting to loose hope ! I DL'd subchecker, and it said it that everything was fine. Im running windows XP and followed other tips regarding DEP or WEP ( whatever its called ) and nothing ..............

Samapico Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Try leaving it running for more cycles (50-100 should be more accurate) But you seem to get a lot of information lost at hopone.net ... Which seems to be a common problem Try some servers that are not SSCU, if you haven't try yet. And check the trace if it goes through hopone.net too if it doesn't work

Dav Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 very strange, perhaps it was a problem with a router or your ISP that was fixed at around the same time. Glad its all OK
