Fawx Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 I am at school and i am trying to connect behind a proxy, i know the proxy and the port at which to connect but continuum still returns an incorrect proxy settings error messages after a couple of moments of freezing. I know i am using the right proxy setting as i configured firefox to work here myself (instead of ie)it may be a problem with the firewall which i havnt got access to change, but i would like to know if anyone has experienced a similar problem and it has been fixed without the need of changing firewall settings. Failing that is there any way of byp!@#$%^&*ing the firewall? i have given myself admin privilages on a local user i have created so access problems may not be such a problem. Any help would be great thanks
Sharpflame Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 I have also tried using those Socks5 proxies. It never works, always the same error message. And I finally managed to get Continuum installed at school, too. 3
