The Real Picard Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Is anyone else noticing the price of food skyrocketing?! I mean, its like a sleeping Giant waking up price wise, Milk, Eggs, Bread, all going through the roof! A gallon of Milk cost more than a Gallon of Gas! What the heck is going on?
SeVeR Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Yea, but today the news broke that: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7367757.stm So we should see some reduction in prices.
Incomplete Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I hadn't really noticed to be honest.Give it 20 years an gas prices would be the thing to worry about, not food. Theres always ways of making food. Can't make gas though.
Incomplete Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Yes, maybe not so effectively yet. As long as there ins't some huge disaster that stops us from growing plants for food or that kills all livestock then I think the worry stays on gas, or other types of fuel.
darkhosis Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 build some nuclear power plants, plenty of uranium around these parts..
Suicide_Run Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I find its stupid to use food as a source of energy/fuel...like using corn. Btw dark, nuclear plants = nuclear waste = disliked by certain ppl in our society.
