Incomplete Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 (edited) Need opinions: Haze - 50/50 about this oneArmy Of Two - Leaning towards noWarhawk - No clueResistance 2 - Didnt play the first one Army of two - isn't bad, try play a demo or something first incase it's not your thing.I found it fun on the 360 playing it over xbox live with a friend. I enjoy Co-op games. When you do single player you have someone with you at all times, youcan tell your teammate what to do to get you through the levels. There is also this thing called Aggro, it's where you get all the attention from the enemies so all of them shoot at you while your teammate can run around and flank or do whatever is needed to complete the level. I would rate it 7.5/10. It stillfeels like this game is missing something. Haze is meant to be really good. I am considering buying it just for the hype of the game, although alot of the time the hype is needed for a game to sell because the game actually sucks. Trailers look fantastic though. Resistance 2: The first one wasn't bad but it wasn't brilliant either. I would play the first one first to see if you like it. This game also feels like its missing something, i would rate it 6/10 Warhawk: No idea. Edited April 23, 2008 by Incomplete
X`terrania Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Need opinions: Haze - 50/50 about this oneArmy Of Two - Leaning towards noWarhawk - No clueResistance 2 - Didnt play the first one <_< Army of Two - This game is seriously crap. When they first showed the game it looked incredible, but then they ended up removing a lot of the stuff that really made it original. All the cool team-based things are actual events in the game, so you're not able to do them spontaneously. To me it's just another crappy shooter that has co-op play in it. Warhawk - Online is addicting. Resistance 2 - The first Resistance was really fun, had a dark atmosphere, great weapons, scary moments, great sounds. To me, Resistance does exactly what Killzone was set out to do at first (but then failed because the hype was too much pressure) - it kills Halo.
UltimaWeaponX Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Meh.. Army of Two has some strong points, but I'll have to agree with Chambahs on this one. I have it for X360, but good thing I didn't spend a penny on it. The gameplay is very poor. You basically shoot an onslaught of human targets until you hit checkpoint, where you "utilize" you and your partner's co-op ability, by either sniping two targets at the same time, or using "aggro" to take out an armoured target. It's fun for the first quarter, learning all their abilities, but nothing new gets added later on. Of course, this is my opinion. I have a friend who absolutely enjoys playing the game over and over.
